meet.make.wedding: framed lyrics.

If you hadn't figured out already, my life tends to revolve around music. Certain songs can take you back to your favourite summer, snowboarding in Jasper or maybe even... your first kiss!

For our wedding, I really wanted to encorporate some of Kyle and my "songs" to share with others, and maybe get our guests to think of some of theirs as well!
I began this project with an image in my head of how I wanted it to come together, however wasn't really sure how to pull it off.

ENTER STEPH :)
It was decided that I would provide Steph with my selected lyrics and she would design a way to display them. I had such a fun time going through my various playlists and choosing which ones would look the best framed!

This was our guestbook for the wedding! I found a vintage-looking frame at Michaels, and they custom create the insert for people to sign. I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

Our card holder! Again, going with a 'musical theme' I was able to get my hands on a vintage Gibson Guitar case with a purple velvet lining. Classic!!

I rented the case from Victoria Vintage China Rentals. A great home based company here in Victoria BC, operated by a husband and wife; Josephine and David. They were a great help with some of the wedding decor, (as you'll see in upcoming posts), and even made the "C-A-R-D-S" bunting you see here! I provided her with my image, and she ran with it.

I purchased various frames from a Dollar store and thrift store, and filled them Steph's creative lyric displays.

This last frame is probably my favourite. You wanna know why?...
Cause it's our WEDDING SONG!!! Love :)
