Introducing: The Hot Bambi
It was named after Bamberton...the campsite where it was first concocted
Ingredients:
- Water
- Hot chocolate powder (we bring some little individual packaged ones... easier to transport to the campsite)
- Baileys
- Old Port Deluxe Rum (kind of a spiced vanilla-tasting rum)
Bring water to a boil over a camp stove, or the campfire if you are patient. Once boiled, add in hot chocolate powder (amount will depend on how many people/how much water.... we used 2 packages for 3 people). Pour into mug and top with generous amounts of baileys and spiced rum.
Enjoy! The great thing about being around the campfire is no one has to drive after. Even still, please drink responsibly!
yum that sounds amazing! i've never combined a spiced rum with bailey's before! and wouldn't you know... i'm camping this weekend ;) what perfect timing. xo
ReplyDeletei love hot chocolate with some alcohol in it. :) even in summer.
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy! I actually have no clue if there are spiced rums in Germany, but a hot chocolate during a rustic camping trip in the woods (or hot chocolate in general) sounds great! xo
ReplyDeleteThis sounds tasty! And it would be great around a campfire. Hope you have a great day.
