meet.make.crochet boot cuffs.

It's always kind of exciting when you finish a project for yourself isn't it? I seem to be doing that a lot lately... first my crochet fingerless gloves, then my knit scarf with stripe accents, and now a pair of crochet boot cuffs! I think the cool ocean air has been contributing to this, as I feel the need to be as wrapped up in as many warm things as possible.

After struggling to find a pattern that really intrigued me, I ended up going with this pattern from See Vanessa Craft. I figured it wouldn't be hard to adjust the pattern from the lighter weight yarn to some Paton's Shetland Chunky.

This is possibly one of the fastest projects I have completed, they crocheted up really quickly. After tucking in the last end, I couldn't wait to add some awesome buttons I came across at the flea market. Aren't they cool?

I'm looking forward to keeping my legs warm with these! What projects have you been making for yourself lately?

  6. These are so cute! I still have a scarf that should have been done months ago.. but somewhere along the line I got lazy and now it just sits half finished on my nightstand.
