meet.make.clutch.

A ladies night in getting ready for a ladies night out!

Prepping for our Seattle trip, we decided to save our party and money for the weekend to come. So far we've touched on almost every essential ladies accessory. TIme to complete the perfect outfit with a one of a kind clutch purse made by yours truly.

Even though we’re crafty, not all our creations are original. Big shout outs to the following sites and/or people for inspiring this ladies night in...
Guest List: Cindy, Hayley, and Steph. Want to know what makes us tick? Visit our Guest List

How we prep... getting ready

We used:
  • $5 silver clutch purses from Payless
  • Modge podge
  • Newspaper/crossword puzzles/left over fabric
  • Buttons
  • Ribbon
You don't need much to make a pretty cool clutch!

How we eat... round up the posse

Asian Lettuce Wraps

You will need:

  • Head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 lbs. ground pork (or meat of choice)
  • 1 diced medium onion
  • 1-2 grated carrots
  • 1 diced red or yellow pepper
  • 1 diced jalapeno pepper
  • sweet chilli sauce
  • cilantro
  • fish sauce (optional)
Start by adding the onions with to a medium frying pan. Once soft, and pork and cook until browned. Add carrot, peppers, sweet chilli and fish sauce and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Remove from heat, and garnish with cilantro.

Serve with lettuce for wrapping.... and voila!

How we Drink...Bottle Service

Hot chocolate. Simple. Satisfying.
Feel like adding in a little class? Try serving it in a martini glass and garnish with mini marshmallows!

How we flopped... The Hangover

As pretty as they look, we must admit they aren't very functional. We're big purse gals that are used to carrying anything... and everything around. (Including knitting projects in progress..)

These days all you need is your IPhone anyways so clutch away!

  1. These are so darling! The after is so much more fun than the before. I don't think I've ever owned a clutch, but I can remember playing with my Mom's in my dress-up clothes when I was little :)

    Have a great day!

  7. These are super cute! I used to be a big purse gal but I've reduced to a small fossil bag. I was filling my purse with too many things that I didn't need to carry with me at all times. LOL

Thanks for linking up to Fabulous Fridays!
