meet.make.taste of summer.

Part deux of mml's Summer of the Mocktail.

Our inspiration for this bevie was the eccentric performance by the vivacious Ultra to Duran Duran's "Can you taste the summer." This was part of a burlesque show we saw while visiting Seattle. Never heard this song? Listen below! It's our summer theme!

We were craving a thirst quencher to take to the beach and none of your pinterest pins quite fit the bill so we decided to wing it. The result - sunshine in a glass and definitely better served chilled.

Try your own version of the Ultra Mocktail!

We used:
  • 1 Cantalope
  • 4 Pears
  • Sun Rype Melon Mango Juice
  • Bottle Green - pomegranate + elderflower
Puree all ingredients in the blender, stir, and serve. I bet you are thinking pretty darn simple. So did we.

Proud that we created our own concoction, we saved a jug overnight to take to the beach. Unlucky for us, it didn't taste or even look good the next day. Definitely something to drink immediately after making!

Can YOU taste the summer? (cause we sure can!)
