After lots of anticipation and planning, Hayley has officially become a MRS!
Her and Kyle tied the knot on Saturday, and it was a beautiful and amazing celebration that reflected the couple perfectly. We thought we would share a few instagram photos but the professional ones will come later so make sure to stop by again!

meet.make.green tea infused martini.
With Hayley's wedding coming up in just 2 DAYS, we are busy entertaining lots of friends! We thought we would go into the meet.make.laugh. vault and pull out one of the first cocktails we made and share it... the tea infused martini! This is a drink we still make from time to time.

The baby crafting continues.....
There is definitely something in the water..... and it's not only Cindy that's pregnant! We each know a few other people who are expecting over the next 6 months!
You know what that means.
BABY CRAFTING TIME!!
Steph:
My lovely cousin Cara just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy..... and I was so excited to make a fun hat to send to her baby shower! After searching through patterns on Ravelry, I decided to make a monkey hat. I finished it in one morning, and LOVE the finished project! All of the rest of you expecting babies.... you are probably going to get one of these too.
Hayley:
I love instant gratification when knitting or crocheting. I can get distracted quite easily or get bored, so baby projects are the best! So fast, and just oh so adorable.
When our friend Stef was pregnant with her second little one, I put my brain to work! Stef and her lil'family LOVE hockey, hence the skates!
I worked up the skate by crocheting just a classic baby bootie pattern, like this one, and began with a white sole. I then created the skate blade with a knit pattern that sunflowerfairy had designed; attached. I then crocheted a single chain to create the look of thicker lace.
Stef was gracious enough to share a picture of Birkley and his tiny skates.
SO. CUTE.
Her hockey family.

meet.make.spring crochet cowl.
Spring has officially sprung around here! Amidst all the baby knitting and crocheting I have been working on, I also decided to make myself a lighter spring crochet cowl. Even though the sun is shining, I still manage to get a chill in my office at work all day.
I purchased this yarn while I was in Germany last fall, and decided it would be perfect for the cowl. I loved the rich berry colour and it seemed nice and light.

meet.make.zucchini pizza sticks.
While working on some wedding crafts over the weekend (less than two weeks until Hayley's wedding!) we needed some sustenance to keep us going. Who knew crafting could be such hard work?
During our first mandatory stretch break (there may also have been a second one that involved going out for frozen yoghurt....) we decided to whip up a veggie-filled snack! We came across this pin on pinterest, and wanted to give it a try. Think margarita pizza on a zucchini!

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all our wonderful mothers back at home and all of you out there in the big blog-iverse!
A special tribute this year also to the mothers-to-be, including Cindy and her lil' mustard seed and our friend Lindsay and her babe on the way!
Hope you're all being spoiled and enjoying your special day.
We miss you mom's!

meet.make.rope wrapped pots.
With all the wedding planning and baby crafting going on, we haven't had a lot of time to get together for a good ol' fashioned ladies craft day in awhile! It was so nice when we realized we had a free afternoon on a rainy Victoria day with our friend Lindsay to work on something fun.

meet.make.wedding: Hayley's Bridal Shower #2
Last month, we decided to hold a second bridal shower for Hayley out here in Victoria. Her first shower was back home in Edmonton, and unfortunately we were not able to attend the festivities.
